DEPT OF HEALTH Contract to 30 June 2019 (with 1 x 12 month extension option)

BASELINE SECURITY CLEARANCE Required

Write rules in OPA’s Oracle Policy Modelling (OPM) development tool;

Enhance and support business systems through development, review and deployment of Java customisations for Oracle Policy Automation (OPA) solutions;

Administration of OPA application build and deployment scripts;

Produce technical solution documentation in detail;

Apply skills to integrate OPA with other applications and data sources when required; and

Elicit requirements from business owners and translate these requirements into specifications.

The Developer will work in the Department of Health’s Aged Care Development Section providing software development services for the My Aged Care (Aged Care Gateway) System.

They will play an integral role in the development and maintenance of the Integration Scenarios required to support the Aged Care integration solution.

The successful applicant will also develop major enhancements based on functional design and interface specifications for future Aged Care initiatives.

The developer will be part of a specialised Oracle Fusion Middleware (FMW) team and will design, build and test Middleware services using FMW product stack, in particular the Oracle Service Bus (OSB).
