JOB DESCRIPTION
Two software engineers required to work as part the LC3 SPO team in Melbourne. Must
have worked in a program where a software product has been integrated into a military platform in compliance with technical regulations (Land TRAMM‐L/TRF preferred) though experience of software acceptance, and technical certification in air and naval domains considered.
This task may involve access to ITAR data so an Australian national is preferred, dual national may be acceptable but dual nationality must be declared.
Must have a engineering degree and meet Level 3 DSS Experience requirements as a
minimum.
Preference is for one of the engineers to possess:
Good skills in supplier engagement;
Will lead the review and refinement of software release reviews;
Negotiate change requests; and
Work closely with the supplier to ensure each release supports the program requirement.
The other engineer should possess:
Good test and acceptance skills; and
Have participated in both Acceptance Test and User Test of Software products in a defence environment.
These tasks commence in Sept 2018 and will be initially contracted until 28
June 2019 with expectation that the roles will continue subject to funding.
