SOFTWARE ENGINEERS | TESTING CHAMPIONS

OVERVIEW


Our client requires Software Engineering services to supplement existing capacity in the development of a conformance testing tool suite. It is expected that the majority of services delivered under this contract will be at our premises, or work from home, with some interaction on-site with the client in Fyshwick, ACT. ICT equipment will be provided to team members. If possible around pandemic travel restrictions, some interstate travel is required to support the conduct of workshops and meetings.  Development tasks will be managed using an Agile Scrum approach with delivery of software to the client at the completion of three sprints:

  • Sprint 1 – High Level Design, Infrastructure development, due 04 Dec 2020.

  • Sprint 2 – Basic Conformance Test Tools, due 31 Mar 2021.

  • Sprint 3 – Enhancements, due 30 Jun 2021.

Each sprint will comprise an analysis/design phase; development phase; and end-user testing/ demonstration phase.  

About the Project

The Australian Army has developed and mandated use of the Australian Generic Vehicle Architecture and Australian Land Data Model (AS LDM) for software integration of vehicle systems. The AS LDM approach includes detailed implementation guidance to reduce integration risk of AS GVA compliant sub-systems. In order to meet this requirement the Land Network Integration Centre is establishing an enduring capability to design, manage, certify and test AS LDM artefacts and implementations. Our client requires software engineering services to supplement existing capacity in development of an AS LDM conformance testing tool suite. 

About You

We are looking to establish a Software Engineering team to conduct a series of development sprints to deliver against key milestones listed above. You will have extensive experience in LAND projects and the design, delivery and testing of conformance testing software and strategies. You will have an active NV1 clearance, or be able to obtain one prior to commencement of the work.  You will have experience with Agile Scrum, be able to work off-site and be a self-starter.
