Position Description


Defence Wide Area Network (DWAN) is an in-service, sustained capability managed by JC4ISPO. The DWAN provides defence with the ability to connect to DPN/DSN through unclassified telephone lines.


The Commonwealth is seeking a suitable qualified and experienced Outsourced Service Provider (OSP) to operate as an embedded part of JC4ISPO DWAN team. This position is sustainment based, and is time and material based tasks. The identified OSP must have the ability to :

  • Manage the preparation of Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) that the materiel being delivered by the Project(s) and Work Package(s) (WP) meets the requirements of the Executive Authority for land materiel technical integrity in line with the Technical Regulatory Framework (TRF) - Technical Regulation of ADF Materiel Manual - Land (TRAMM-L)

  • Investigate and report on any materiel defects, non-conformances, engineering change proposals (ECP), or applications for deviations on materiel requirements, and develop recommendations to address issues

  • Review engineering related documents identified in various Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs)

  • Provide input into technical risk assessments

  • Work with other contractors and JC4ISPO engineers in resolving technical issues

  • Provide technical advice and recommendations to the DNE System Manager and Product Manager CA40 in support of JC4ISPO advice to the Capability Manager.

  • Provide project support where necessary, having experience in the Defence environment is preferred.
