USER EXPERIENCE PRACTITIONER - Design and research

POSITION DESCRIPTION

  • Plan and undertake user research activities including:

  1. user interviews;

  2. research analysis;

  3. usability testing; and

  4. insights reports.

  • Apply best practice User Interface Design and User Centred Design principals

  • Support and mature UX capability and processes

  • Develop and maintain wireframes, prototypes, design specifications, personas, service blueprints and journey maps

Essential Criteria

Describe your industry based knowledge and experience in the analysis and configuration of ServiceNow:

  • Demonstrated experience planning and undertaking user research activities CI mapping to business units;

  • Demonstrated experience designing and applying UI patterns to digital products;

  • Strong understanding of information architecture, web usability, and accessibility;

  • Demonstrated capacity to communicate effectively including presenting user research insights; and

  • Demonstrated skills in planning and prioritising tasks working under pressure to tight deadlines.


Desirable

  • Skills in visual design software programs, such as Axure and Adobe applications;

  • Experience applying user experience principles and practices including design thinking, heuristics, and requirements gathering;

  • Experience supporting and maturing UX capability and processes; and

  • Knowledge of the Digital Transformation Agency’s (DTA) ‘Digital Service Standard’.
