Job Description
The Document Lead will be responsible for coordinating and prioritising the
development and finalisation of all documents as part of the Government Approval Process. They will ensure consistency between the individual capability elements, project and overarching program documents and lead the development of these documents through the initial drafting to final copies ready for COA.
Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience
The document lead must have:
Relevant tertiary qualifications or experience that demonstrates strong writing skills and/or a minimum of 3 years' experience writing Strategic, Program, Project and Governance Documentation;
A good understanding of the Capability Life Cycle;
Have an understanding of the Defence Environment; and
It will be desirable to have experience within the CASG Land.
The role is minimum skill Level 3 (Advanced Practitioner)
KEY TASKS
Analyse the requirement and development required for each document in the document suite;
Ensure consistency between capability element/project level documents and the
program level; and
Liaise with various stakeholders both internally and externally in order gather information as and when required to complete tasks.
The required services may also include, but are not limited to:
Analysis of document requirements at both capability element level and program level to meet Government approval;
Ensuring consistency across all capabilities;
Completing FIC workshop and developing the FIC decision summary reports.
Assist with the planning, scheduling and estimating of work to meet Commonwealth project requirements;
Preparation and delivery of project briefings when required; and
Provision of advice on the preparation, and/or assistance in the review and clearance processes for project documentation.
